Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

As a Certified Home Health Aide with Home Care For You, you’ll provide one-on-one support that helps individuals stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Your work may include personal care, meal assistance, light housekeeping, mobility support, medication reminders, and companionship.

Requirements (State of New Jersey):

  • Active CHHA certification through the NJ Board of Nursing
  • Completion of a 76-hour state-approved CHHA training program
  • Fingerprinting and criminal background check
  • TB clearance
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Home Care Nurse with Home Care For You, you’ll bring your clinical skills directly into the home. You will complete assessments, develop and update care plans, supervise Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), provide medication management when needed, monitor health changes, and educate clients and families to support safety and well-being. Your role ensures high-quality, coordinated care for every individual we serve.

Requirements (State of New Jersey):

  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • At least one year of clinical experience (home care preferred)
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Background check, fingerprinting, and TB clearance
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Patient Manager

As a Patient Manager at Home Care For You, you play an essential role in keeping care organized and running smoothly. You’ll support clients, families, caregivers, and our clinical team by coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring communication flows clearly between everyone involved. Your work helps create a seamless, supportive experience for every family we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate client and CHHA schedules
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Assist with intake, onboarding, and communication with families
  • Support Registered Nurses with care plan updates and follow-up
  • Ensure timely communication with caregivers and office staff

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in an office or customer service setting (home care preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort using computers, scheduling systems, and documentation tools
  • Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach

CHHA Training Instructor

As a CHHA Training Instructor at Home Care For You, you will teach, guide, and prepare future Certified Home Health Aides for success in the field. You’ll lead both classroom and hands-on clinical instruction, ensuring students meet New Jersey’s training standards and gain the confidence and skills needed to provide safe, compassionate care in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the state-approved 76-hour CHHA training curriculum
  • Provide classroom, virtual, and clinical skills instruction
  • Assess student competency and readiness for certification
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with NJ Board of Nursing requirements
  • Support students with guidance, feedback, and professional development

Requirements:

  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Meets NJ Board of Nursing qualifications to teach CHHA programs
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
  • Experience in home care or clinical instruction preferred
  • Ability to create a positive, supportive learning environment
