Since 2006, Home Care For You has stood out from the rest. As a New Jersey DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) statewide provider, accredited and licensed Home Care Agency, we are committed to delivering superior home care services as well as community support services to individuals with special needs.

With our team full of compassionate and inspiring leaders, we strive for nothing but the best for our clients. We offer a wide range of professional services with experienced and diversified health and community related disciplines including but not limited to direct support professionals, certified home health aides, nurses, social workers, teachers, and personal trainers, to name a few.

Our Standards

To maintain our high standards, we are licensed by the State of New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. We are fully accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) and each of our employees undergoes:

  • Federal and New Jersey State screening processes
  • Fingerprinting
  • Drug Screening
  • An intensive interview process that includes reference verification and skill evaluation.

Furthermore, our staff receives an ongoing specialized training to maintain their skills and is updated on the latest changes in healthcare standards. We follow and maintain all state and federal regulations.

Certified Home Health Aide Services

Certified Home Health Aides provide personal and homecare services that are essential to the client’s health, comfort and independence. The Certified Home Health Aide will follow an individualized plan of care developed and tailored to the client’s specific needs by our professional registered nurse.

  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Laundry, linen change
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assistance with exercises (follow prescribed exercise plan)
  • Medication reminders and assistance
  • Meal planning and preparation (follow medically prescribed diet)
  • Serving of meals and assisting with feeding
  • Assisting the client with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Escorting the client to Doctor’s appointments
  • Assisting with ambulation (walking) with or without assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
  • Companionship and emotional support

Skilled Nursing Services

Skilled Nursing Services include but are not limited to:
  • Assessment
  • Client and family teaching
  • Rehabilitation
  • Wound care
  • Insulin injections
  • Glucose monitoring
  • Medication pours
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Family wellness consultation

Our Registered Nurses collaborate with your physician to provide the best care possible.

Intellectual/ Developmental Disability Services

At Home Care For You, Inc. (HCFY) we believe in a person centered approach to meeting the needs of every individual. By using this approach to Community Based Support (CBS) we help individuals determine the programs and activities they wish to participate in based on their abilities and interests.

It is our goal at HCFY to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve the highest level of independence, life skills, self-worth, and help integrate into their local communities.

We create moments, memories and beautiful days in the lives of individuals we serve!

We work closely with Support Coordinators, the families and participants to ensure that each Individual Service Plan (ISP) is inclusive of the services that are necessary for each individual to succeed at his/her outcomes.

We recruit, train and qualify each of our Direct Support Professionals to provide every individual with the best possible service to achieve goals, fulfill dreams and enjoy new experiences. Because of the importance of connecting the right people together; we set-up a Meet and Greet so that each individual has a chance at interviewing and choosing the DSP that is the best fit. This is the key to building long lasting relationships and encouraging person-centered approach.

We closely monitor our services by keeping constant and open communication between all team members, as well as conducting ongoing supervisory visits.

Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional are required to be CPR and First Aid Certified. One year related experience working with people with specials needs. Position open statewide.

Certified Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide is required to have an active NJ HHA Certification with one year experience in home care. Position open statewide. 

Registered Nurse

Registered Nurses are required to have an active New Jersey RN License and have one year in clinical experience. The position is open per diem statewide. 

Case Manager

Case managers are required to have one year experience in human services. Position is open statewide.

Staffing Coordinator

Staffing Coordinators are required to have experience in technology, multitasking and customer service. Position is open in all five locations. 

FAQ's

Why choose Home Care For You, Inc?

There are many agencies to choose from in New Jersey alone, but we are a privately-owned agency. We work one-on-one basis with each client or family that calls us or comes through our door. We take our job very seriously, and work hard to achieve excellent results so that our customers are 100% satisfied. We continuously meet and exceed all standards and regulations to stay a qualified, licensed, insured, bonded, and accredited.

How do your services work?

After initial consultation with our Staffing Coordinator, we will schedule a Meet and Greet with a Direct Support Professional or Certified Home Health Aide. If both parties agree to work with each other, service can begin. If at anytime you wish to discontinue our services, you are free to do so with no penalties or obligations; you can cancel at anytime.

How do I know if I will like my DSP or CHHA?

Our coordinating team will first ascertain your needs and language preferences and try to find the best caregiver for you. A meet and greet will be scheduled between you and your potential caregiver. If at any time you are not happy with your DSP or CHHA, please voice your concerns with our office and we will be happy to find you a new caregiver.

Can I reach someone after hours?

Yes! We have on-call staff 24/7. We always have a registered nurse available to help with any emergencies after hours.

Are your services covered by insurance?

We accept all NJ Medicaid HMO's, most Private Insurances, NJ DDD Program, Long Term Care, Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver programs, Veterans assistance and Private Pay.

Who is responsible for all the social security, federal and state taxes for the caregivers?

Since all of our caregivers are employed by Home Care For You, Inc, the company is fully responsible for their social security, Medicare, disability and all state income tax withholdings. We make sure that our clients and their families are not responsible for these tax liabilities. If they hired someone independently or through a staffing agency, the family would be responsible.
